Meet Dr. Sandretti
Dr. Stephanie Sandretti, DDS, was born in San Francisco and grew up in Danville, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biochemistry at UCLA and obtained her DDS degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She was honored to be selected for Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honors society, while at UCLA.
After dental school, Dr. Sandretti completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Richmond, VA with an emphasis in geriatric dentistry and medically-compromised patients.
Philanthropy is very important to Dr. Sandretti. She established the Honduras Dental Mission program at UCLA and founded the Honduras Dental Care Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, to support dental mission trips to Guaimaca, Honduras. She has been to Honduras numerous times to provide dental services to the underserved population and continues to set up trips for dental students and dentists to her clinic.
In addition, Dr. Sandretti is very involved with the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. She serves on the CDA Government Affairs Council and helps represent dentists and patients to Californian politicians.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sandretti and her husband Matt, who is an orthodontist, have a two-year-old son, Luca. They enjoy spending time with family, playing soccer, wakeboarding on the Sacramento Delta and snow-skiing in Tahoe. Both Dr. Sandretti and her husband are avid UCLA Bruin fans and look forward to football and basketball season each year.
Dr. Sandretti always puts her patients first and is dedicated to providing each of them with the highest quality, personalized and compassionate dental care. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and educated about their dental needs to make their experience as enjoyable as possible!
Dr. Sandretti is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.

X-rays are used to identify dental problems early. Detecting and treating dental problems before they become more problematic saves you money and time. X-rays give us a clear view of what we can’t see such as decay between the teeth.
An intraoral camera is a small video camera that take images of the outside of the gum or tooth. Your dentist simultaneously moves the camera around the patients mouth while looking at a monitor, so that images can be taken from various angles.
